Friday Time-Waster

Make your own at the Simpsons movie site. Good luck picking out your nose from a multi-page gallery of cartoon pen strokes.

Bummed

The second interview lasted over an hour and I got a tour of the office. But today I got the rejection letter in the mail. I am totally bummed - I was already imaging what life would be like with one, full-time job.

Bad Dreams

Last night I dreamed I was at a staff meeting for work, being forced to drink scotch in a library at 6:30 in the morning.

Hiding in Plain Sight

My art teacher/mentor sent me this clipping from the hometown weekly. We kinda got a kick out of me being missing, since we all know I'm right here.

Learn Something New Every Day

Okay, who knew there was an herb out there called horny goat weed?

'Fess up. Who's been keeping it from me? And as for this:

I do not think it means what they think it means.

Dulcinea

dulcinea

Those of you who know me know I am no frugivore. Apart from the occasional banana, the only fruit I typically eat is covered with two cups of sugar and baked in a flaky crust. The need for dietary change has me forcing myself to eat more fruit, most of which I don't really enjoy.

So imagine my surprise when the thought crossed my mind that I may eat this entire watermelon in one sitting.

It's one of those miniature watermelons, round and seedless, sweet as summer and juicy as an issue of Scarlet magazine. According to the nutrition information I looked up online, it contains nothing but vitamin C and sugar.

Yum.
