The weekend from Hell turned into the Tuesday from Hell. Here's to the hope that Wednesday will move up into Purgatorio (or at least the second or third circle of Hell).

First cardinal song I've heard this year.

Also had a chickadee on the feeder yesterday. Was unable to snap a photo as K. and I were literally opening the door to go out to a euchre tournament when we saw it.

We did not win. The chickadee found the best sunflower seed and took off.

Brief Hiatus

Wanted to get a picture of the moon to balance yesterday's picture of the sun, especially since the clouds scudding past the moon were all wispy and creepy and moving fast, but I failed to capture the ambience of the scene with my camera and limited photographic ability.

Blog will be on brief hiatus tomorrow and possibly Saturday. I might take some photos, but probably will not have time to post. Catch ya on the flip side.
